We cut these trousers wide through the leg from a lightweight suit twill with a touch of stretch. Front pleats give the fabric room to drop straight from the high waistband down to a clean, ungathered hem. An elastic section in back eases the fit at the waist.

The details we cut in
Waistband and closure
We set a flat front waistband with an elastic section across the back to keep the trousers seated. A zipper fly closes with a single matching button.
Pleats and wide leg
Deep front pleats open below the waistband so the legs fall straight down to a wide, ungathered hem. The cut gives you plenty of ease through the thigh.
Twill fabric drape
We chose a lightweight woven twill that holds its crease without stiffening. The dark grey yarn shows a subtle diagonal weave that resists hard wrinkling throughout the day.
Pockets and care
Two angled side pockets sit flat along the front pleats. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, avoid bleach, and press with a warm iron if needed to reset the pleats.
