We cut this matching set from a soft, stretchy knit with a horizontal red and pink stripe. The top has dropped shoulders and long sleeves with ribbed cuffs, while the pull-on shorts rest on a broad elastic waistband. It packs flat and works together or worn as separates.

The details we cut in

Crew neckline and sleeves

We finish the crew neckline with a clean ribbed band that keeps its shape. Dropped shoulders lead into full-length sleeves that finish with matching ribbing at each wrist.

Elastic waist shorts

The knit shorts feature a flexible gathered waistband designed to sit smoothly without hardware or drawstrings. The leg openings are cut straight and wide for easy movement around the house.

Stripe knit fabric

We chose a medium-weight knit fabric with horizontal red and pink stripes. It has natural give across the body and hangs softly without feeling clingy or stiff.

Laundering and care

Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to reduce friction against the knit surface. Do not use bleach, and hang or lay flat to dry to maintain the sweater shape.
