We knit this two-piece lounge set from a soft, stretchy yarn with a relaxed drop to the silhouette. The long-sleeve top features a classic crew neckline and dropped shoulders, paired with matching pull-on shorts cut with a wide elastic waistband. The black and apricot horizontal stripes run continuously across both pieces.

The details we cut in

Crewneck top and sleeves

The sweater top is cut loose through the body with dropped shoulder seams and long sleeves that finish clean at the wrist. The rounded crew neckline holds its shape without pulling.

Elastic waist shorts

We cut the matching shorts with an encased elastic waistband that sits flat without drawstrings. The leg openings are loose and straight, allowing full movement without bunching.

Striped knit fabric

The knitted yarn has moderate stretch and a soft, dry hand that breathes well indoors. Broad horizontal stripes in contrasting black and apricot give the surface a balanced, graphic pattern.

Cold wash and care

Place both pieces inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the knit stitches during the cycle. Machine wash cold on a gentle setting and hang on a line to dry. Avoid bleach.
