A cropped body brings clean lines to traditional outerwear details. We build this jacket in a structured apricot cloth with a notched collar, button front, and full plaid lining. The hem rests short across the hip, making room for trousers and skirts without bunching.

The details we cut in
Lapel collar and front
The notched lapel sits flat against the collarbone and frames a base layer cleanly. Buttons run straight down the front placket, letting the jacket hang open or fasten shut against a breeze.
Woven apricot shell
We chose a crisp shell fabric that holds its shape through the shoulders and sleeves. It offers a smooth surface, a clean drape, and enough structure to keep the waistline neat.
Plaid interior lining
The inside is lined with a smooth woven plaid that glides over sweaters and long-sleeve shirts. Turning back the cuff or leaving the front unbuttoned shows the check pattern underneath.
Pockets and care
Set-in pockets sit along the lower front seams for small items. Wash this coat on a gentle cold cycle and hang it to dry to keep the collar and hem straight.
