A short trench cut from crisp, structured fabric that holds its line in cool air. We shaped the body with a clean cropped hem and set in a classic lapel collar. Inside, contrasting plaid lining runs through the interior, showing at the collar and front edge when worn unfastened. Front pockets sit low on the hips.

The details we cut in
Lapel collar and closure
We cut a wide notched lapel that lies flat across the chest or buttons closed down the front. The straight button placket keeps the jacket structured when fastened.
Plaid inner lining
The body is lined in a smooth woven plaid that slides over sweaters and long sleeves. It shows along the inner facing when you leave the coat open.
Cropped hemline
The hem finishes high on the waist, balancing wide trousers, straight jeans, or skirts. We turned and stitched the bottom edge flat for a clean profile.
Front pocket construction
Deep welt pockets are set into the lower front panels to hold small items. They sit flat against the shell fabric without breaking the coat outline.
