We cut this mini skort with built-in jersey shorts under a smooth outer panel. The waistband sits across the hips at a mid rise. A small slit opens up the side hem for ease of movement.

The details we cut in
Integrated inner short
We stitch a close-fitting stretch short directly under the skirt panel. It stays flat against the leg to keep the outer hem sitting right when you walk or sit.
Waistband and rise
The waistband is cut for a mid rise that rests on the hips without digging. We keep the band wide and unlined so it lies flat under cropped shirts and knits.
Side slit hem
A short vertical slit breaks the side seam near the bottom edge. This keeps the straight hem from binding across the thigh while adding room for walking.
Fabric and care
The dense stretch knit holds an opaque finish in deep coffee brown. Wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours, then line dry to preserve the stretch recovery.
