Horizontal grass green stripes give this knit vest its structure. We shaped the neckline into a classic V that lines up with the button placket, then finished the armholes with short cap sleeves. Twin patch pockets sit low on the front, balanced by a ribbed hem that keeps the cut grounded.

What went into it
The details we cut in
V-neck and button front
The front placket buttons straight up to meet an open V-neckline. Ribbed binding reinforces the edges along the neck and placket so the opening holds its shape through regular wear.
Cap sleeves and shoulders
We extended the shoulder line slightly past the natural shoulder to form short cap sleeves. This adds light coverage at the arm while leaving full freedom through the underarm.
Knit weight and pockets
The yarn is knit in a medium, breathable gauge that sits flat without bulk. We added two small patch pockets to the front body, aligning them with the horizontal stripe pattern.
Washing and drying
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag, or hand wash in cold water. Lay the vest flat to dry so the knit pattern and hem stay in shape.
