We cut this oversized pullover from a thick acrylic yarn with prominent cable ribs running down the body. The crewneck sits close at the collarbone, balanced by dropped shoulders and extra room through the chest. The weight carries warmth without feeling stiff. Plum yarn gives the raised stitches distinct depth.

The details we cut in
Crew neckline and shoulders
The ribbed round collar sits flat against the base of the neck. We dropped the shoulder seams past the natural shoulder line to give the upper body a relaxed drape that layers over tees.
Chunky cable knit
Raised cables alternate with open ribs across the front, back, and sleeves. The thick yarn creates a dense gauge that traps air and holds its shape through regular wear.
Sleeve and cuff finish
The long sleeves run wide through the arm and gather into a ribbed cuff at the wrist. The ribbing keeps the cuff in place when pushed up the forearm.
Washing and care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag, or hand wash in cool water. Lay the sweater flat on a dry towel to dry so the heavy knit does not stretch.
