What went into it
The details we cut in
Crew neck and shoulder
The ribbed neckline sits flat against the collarbone without pulling tight. We dropped the shoulder seam low so the sleeve falls easily over base layers, giving the chest and upper arm plenty of room.
Chunky cable knit
We used a heavy acrylic yarn worked into raised cable columns across the body. The knit is dense and lofted, trapping warmth without adding rigid structure to the drape.
Cuff and hem finish
Both the sleeve cuffs and lower hem finish in wide ribbing that holds its shape. The body hangs straight and loose to the hip, sitting clean over wide leg trousers or denim.
Care and washing
Hand wash or use a gentle cycle with the sweater placed inside a mesh laundry bag. Lay the knit flat on a towel to dry so the cable pattern keeps its shape and length.
