What went into it
The details we cut in
Collar and neckline
We shaped the neckline with an open lapel collar that lies flat against the collarbone. It gives the upper chest a clean, structured finish without buttons or hardware to weigh the knit down.
Dropped shoulder cut
The sleeve seam falls well off the natural shoulder. This widens the chest line and lets the heavy knit hang straight through the sides without pulling across the upper arms.
Ribbed cuffs and hem
Both the cuffs and the lower hem finish in deep ribbed knitting. The stitch tightens the openings slightly, which keeps the sleeves anchored at the wrists and stops the waist from stretching wide.
Knit care
Gently hand wash this piece in cold water with mild detergent. Avoid bleach and the tumble dryer, and lay the sweater flat on a clean towel to dry so the yarn keeps its original shape.
