We cut this micro mini skirt with a low-rise waistband and a very short hemline. The synthetic fabric has a cool touch and a slight surface sheen, dyed in a clear red. Underneath the skirt shell, we built in a matching short liner with side pockets for ease when moving.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Low-rise waistband
The band sits low on the hip bones and stays flat across the front. We cut it snug through the seat so the line remains clean without bunching or rolling when you sit down.
Micro hem with inner short
We gave the outer skirt an ultra-short cut. An integrated short liner is sewn directly into the waistband using the same red fabric, giving base coverage underneath the raised hemline.
Side pockets
We set pockets into the inner shorts to hold small items securely against the leg. The outer skirt falls smoothly over the pocket openings so the profile stays flat.
Cool-touch fabric and care
The smooth synthetic cloth is woven for light stretch and easy recovery. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then hang the skirt to dry to preserve the clean finish and fit.
