What went into it
The details we cut in
Low waistband
The low waist sits flat without extra bulk at the top seam. We shaped the band to stay smooth against the hips through normal wear, though you may prefer a size up for a looser hang.
Integrated shorts
A set of matching stretch shorts sits underneath the outer skirt panel. They provide a second layer of base coverage beneath the high-cut micro hem and keep the piece practical for walking.
Dot print and fabric
The synthetic blend has a cool touch, generous stretch, and a subtle surface sheen. Small brown polka dots run evenly across the light ground, dyed deep so the pattern holds its ground when stretched.
Care and wash
Wash cold on a gentle machine cycle with like colours. Hang the skort to dry on a line rather than running it through high heat, which keeps the stretch fibres springy and the hem crisp.
