We cut this micro mini skirt with a low-rise waistband and a short, straight hem. Underneath, a matching built-in short liner provides base coverage during movement. The light grey fabric is smooth, cool to the touch, and woven with a light sheen. Side pockets sit flat against the hip.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Low-rise waistband
The waistband sits low across the hips rather than the natural waist. It is cut flat without exterior gathering to stay in place without bunching when you walk.
Built-in liner shorts
An integrated inner short is sewn directly into the waist seam. We use the same smooth, stretchy fabric as the outer skirt so the layers move together without binding.
Side pocket construction
We placed drop-in pockets along the sides of the inner liner. They keep small items close to the hip under the outer hem without pulling the outer skirt out of shape.
Fabric and care
The synthetic blend has a dense, smooth finish with a subtle surface shine. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then hang the skirt to dry to preserve the clean hemline.
