We cut these trousers with a roomy barrel leg that curves gently outward before tapering slightly toward the hem. The interior is backed with lofted fleece for cool weather. An elasticated waistband with a flat cord keeps the top secure without binding.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Barrel leg shape
The outer seam bows out through the thigh and calf to build volume, then settles cleanly above the shoe. It gives the heavy knit space to drape without clinging.
Fleece interior
The backing is brushed into a dense, soft pile that traps warmth against the leg. The face remains smooth, clean, and knit in a warm apricot shade.
Drawstring waistband
We set a wide elastic band at the natural waist and threaded it with a dyed cord. You can knot it loosely or pull it snug.
Deep side pockets
Two inset pockets sit along the forward side seams. We lined them flat so they carry small items without bulging or breaking the curve of the leg.
