We cut these sweatpants with a distinct barrel leg that bows out through the calf before tapering toward the ankle. The interior is backed with lofted fleece for cool weather. Deep side pockets sit along the hip seams, while a wide elastic waist stays secure with an exterior drawstring cord.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Curved barrel leg
The leg profile rounds out through the thigh and knee, creating room to move before narrowing lightly at the bottom opening. This gives the heavyweight fabric a structured, rounded shape instead of falling straight.
Fleece lined interior
A brushed fleece backing runs through the entire inside of the trouser. It adds thickness to the knit face, keeping the drape full and the feel soft against bare legs in cold air.
Drawstring waistband
We anchored a thick elastic band inside the waist casing to hold position without twisting. An adjustable exterior cord lets you pull the fit closer or wear it low across the hips.
Deep side pockets
Two inset pockets are sewn into the side seams, cut deep enough to hold keys or a phone. They lie flat against the outer hip when empty to keep the silhouette clean.
