We cut these sweatpants with a curved barrel leg that bows out slightly through the thigh and tapers toward the ankle. The interior is backed with lofted fleece for cold weather, dyed in a pale light gray. An elasticated waistband with an adjustable drawcord keeps the top comfortable and anchored.

The details we cut in
Barrel leg shape
The leg is cut wide through the thigh with a subtle outward curve before narrowing at the ankle hem. This gives room to move without dragging fabric on the floor.
Lofted fleece interior
The knit fabric features a smooth outer face paired with a brushed fleece backing on the inside. The dense loft holds warmth during cool days.
Drawstring elastic waistband
We set a broad elastic band into the waist and threaded it with an adjustable drawstring. It sits securely without binding.
Side seam pockets
Two deep pockets are sewn directly into the side seams to hold small items. They lay flat against the hip when empty.
