We knit this polo from a lightweight, fine-gauge yarn in a solid red. The open V-neck collar sits flat against the chest, paired with softly gathered puff sleeves that hold their shape. It tucks neatly into trousers or sits clean over a skirt band.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Polo collar and neckline
The collar opens into a clean V-neck without buttons. We knit the band to lie flat against the collarbone, holding its spread throughout the day without curling at the edges.
Gathered puff sleeve
We set gathers at the shoulder cap to create volume through the short sleeve. The ribbed cuff catches above the elbow to keep the puff structured rather than limp.
Fine gauge knit
The lightweight knit uses a dense, smooth gauge that breathes well in warmer weather. It provides light coverage on its own and layers flat beneath a jacket when the temperature drops.
Care instructions
Machine wash in cold water inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the fine knit from snags. Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry. Do not use bleach.
