We knit this short sleeve pullover from a lightweight, fine-gauge yarn in clean white. The collar lies flat against a notched V-neck, balanced by gathered puff sleeves that hold a gentle shape at the shoulder. It sits straight at the hip and layers easily under light jackets.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Polo collar and notch
We shaped the collar to sit open into an unbuttoned V-neck. The knit band lies flat along the collarbone, giving the neckline clean structure without adding bulk.
Gathered puff sleeve
Each short sleeve gathers slightly at the shoulder seam and finishes with a soft rib cuff. The gather adds volume up top while keeping the bicep clear.
Fine gauge knit
We chose a lightweight, closely knit yarn for this piece. The fabric is smooth against the hands, holds its shape through the torso, and breathes well during warmer days.
Care and wash
Machine wash in cold water using a mesh laundry bag to protect the fine knit from snagging on other garments. Skip the bleach and reshape flat to dry.
