We cut this short-sleeve polo from a lightweight, fine-gauge knit in a solid green shade. The open split neckline sits flat beneath the knit collar, while the short sleeves are gathered lightly into the shoulder seam for a rounded puff shape. It sits cleanly over the waistband of trousers or tucked into a skirt.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Polo neck and collar
The open neckline is finished with a polo collar that lies flat against the neck without buttons or placket hardware. The edges are ribbed to hold their shape through wear.
Puff sleeve cut
Each short sleeve is gathered at the cap to build a gentle puff before settling into a ribbed cuff. The shoulder seam stays placed where the yoke meets the sleeve.
Fine gauge knit fabric
We used a fine-gauge knit that feels smooth against the hand and carries a soft drape. It breathes well in warmer weather while offering light substance under a light jacket.
Wash care instructions
Turn the piece inside out and wash on a gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag to protect the fine yarns. Lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight, and do not bleach.
