We cut this top from a lightweight stretch knit that holds its deep black dye through the wash. The asymmetrical square neck frames the collarbone without pulling wide across the shoulders. A neat row of small buttons runs down the front to an extended hem.

The details we cut in
Asymmetrical square neck
The neckline cuts straight across with an off-center angle that stays flat against the chest. We finished the edge with a narrow self-binding so the line remains crisp without rolling inward.
Three-quarter sleeves
Set-in sleeves finish midway down the forearm. The knit fabric has enough give to push the cuffs up without binding around the elbow or sagging through the wrist.
Front button line
Small tonal buttons are sewn in a straight line down the center front. They sit flat against the body, adding structure to the front panel down toward the hip-length hem.
Fabric and laundering
The lightweight stretch jersey hangs straight without clinging. Machine wash in cold water with similar colors and hang to dry, then press on a low setting if you need to clear packing creases.
