We cut this short jacket with a high funnel neck that zips all the way up against the breeze. The woven polyester shell is lightweight and unlined for mild autumn weather. An elasticated hem and cuffs gather the volume at your wrists and waist, while a wide storm flap covers the central zipper.

The details we cut in
Funnel collar and flap
The high collar stands upright when fully zipped to cover the neck. We added a broad storm flap over the front zipper to break the wind and keep the front clean.
Cropped elasticated hem
The body is cut short and finished with an internal elastic band at the bottom. This draws the hem inward so the jacket sits cleanly above your waistband.
Sleeve and cuff build
Long set-in sleeves have room underneath for a light knit or jersey tee. Gathered elastic cuffs hold the wrists in place and keep drafts out of the arms.
Fabric and wash care
The woven polyester cloth is lightweight and smooth to the touch. Wash on a cold cycle or by hand with like colours, then hang it on a line to dry.
