We cut this cropped jacket from a lightweight woven shell in a warm brown shade for transitional weather. A high funnel collar sits over a full zip closure concealed by a clean storm flap. The lower back panel gathers into a soft bubble shape, balanced by elastic at the wrists and waist.

The details we cut in
Funnel collar and flap
The neckline zips straight up into a stand collar that buffers cool wind. We set a wide storm flap over the front zipper to keep the line clean and block drafts through the teeth.
Back bubble hem
The back panel carries extra ease gathered into the bottom edge. It billows slightly above the waistband for a bubble profile that sits clear of your hips without pulling tight when you reach.
Elasticated sleeves and pockets
We finished the wide sleeves with gathered elastic cuffs that push up easily along the forearm. Two welt side pockets sit forward on the body seam to rest hands out of the breeze.
Woven shell care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or hand wash in cool water, then hang the jacket on a broad hanger to dry. The woven polyester shell dries quickly and sheds light creasing on the line.
