We knit this pullover with a traditional Fair Isle pattern across the yoke and body. The crewneck sits close without binding, while the raglan sleeves give you room to wear an undershirt beneath. Ribbing along the cuffs and bottom edge keeps the shape intact through steady wear.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Fair Isle knit
The black pattern yarn is knitted with a chunky gauge for a soft, substantial feel. The pattern covers the body and sleeves without adding stiff bulk across the seams.
Raglan sleeve cut
We shaped the armholes with diagonal raglan seams that run directly to the collar. This leaves extra space through the shoulders so the sweater layers easily over collared shirts or base layers.
Ribbed crewneck and hem
A dense rib finishes the rounded neckline, the wrists, and the bottom hem. These bands hold their recovery well, keeping the cuffs at the wrist and the lower edge flat against your trousers.
Washing and care
Hand wash in cold water or use a gentle machine cycle inside a mesh bag. Lay the knit flat on a towel to dry so the pattern does not stretch out of shape.
