We cut this tunic in a lightweight plaid knit with built-in stretch and a soft hand. Tiny pleats fall straight down from the round crew neckline, opening up room through the body. The sleeves finish in smocked ruffle cuffs, while the lower hem curves gently at the hips.

Pleated neckline
Small pleats run down the center chest from a simple crew neck band. They add ease across the front panel without pulling at the collar.
Smocked ruffle cuffs
Each long sleeve gathers near the wrist with elastic smocking, ending in a short ruffle that stays in place when pushed up.
