We cut this long sleeve top in a soft jersey blend with stretch through the body. Small pleats fan out below the banded crew neckline to give the chest ease, and the sleeves finish in smocked cuffs with a short ruffle. The hem sweeps down in a gentle curve front and back.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Crewneck and front pleats
The rounded neckline sits flat with a narrow self-fabric band. Beneath the collar seam, small tuck pleats release into the chest, adding fullness through the body without pulling across the shoulders.
Smocked ruffle cuffs
Each sleeve runs straight down the arm and gathers into a band of elastic smocking above the wrist. The cuff edge finishes with a small raw ruffle that holds its shape.
Curved loose hem
We shaped the lower edge into a broad curve that dips lower at the front and back. The side seams rise slightly to allow easy movement when worn loose over trousers.
Fabric and cold wash
The lightweight jersey mixes polyester and cotton with spandex for recovery across the shoulders. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then hang on a line or lay flat to dry.
