We cut this long sleeve top with tiny pleats below the crew neck to give the front panel room to drape. The knit blend has stretch, while smocking gathers the cuffs into small ruffled edges. A curved hemline finishes the lower edge so it hangs cleanly over trousers or skirts.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Pleated crew neck
Small vertical pleats start directly under the banded round collar. They open over the chest, letting the lightweight knit fall freely through the waist without pulling across the shoulders.
Smocked ruffle cuffs
The long sleeves finish with narrow rows of elastic smocking at the wrist. This gathers the fabric and creates a short, ruffled flare right over the back of the hand.
Curved lower hem
We shaped the bottom edge in a gentle curve that drops lower at the front and back. The side seams rise slightly to keep the silhouette loose rather than boxy.
Fabric and print
The base knit blends cotton and polyester with a touch of spandex for give across the back. The Apricot Black Flower pattern sets dark botanical outlines against a warm, pale ground.
