We cut this long sleeve top with a rounded neckline and small pleats running down the center front. The knit has a soft hand with built-in stretch, hanging loose through the body to a curved lower hem. Elastic smocking draws in each wrist before opening into a short ruffled edge.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Neckline and pleats
A banded crew neck sits flat against the collarbone. Beneath the collar, we set forward-facing pleats into the front panel to give the chest room to move without pulling across the shoulders.
Smocked sleeve cuffs
The sleeves run full length down to smocked elastic wrists. The gathered stitching holds the sleeve in place on the forearm if pushed up, ending in a clean ruffled cuff.
Curved tunic hem
We rounded the lower hem so it drops slightly lower at the front and back. The side seams curve upward, leaving the fabric free to drape over trousers or tuck into a waistband.
Fabric and care
The knit blend combines polyester, cotton, and spandex for a lightweight feel with horizontal stripe alignment across the body. Wash on a gentle cold cycle with like colors and line dry.
