What went into it
The details we cut in
Top and chest pocket
We shape the top with a relaxed body and short cap sleeves that sit clean at the shoulder. A square patch pocket sits on the left chest, stitched flat to keep the front neat.
Waistband and drawcord
The shorts pull on over an elasticated waistband threaded with a matching drawstring. You can tie the cord loose or snug, and the casing stays flat without bunching against the hips.
Side pocket construction
Two slant pockets sit at the side seams of the shorts. They lie smooth when empty and give you a place to rest your hands or tuck small essentials when moving around the house.
Fabric and laundering
We use a lightweight, breathable knit printed in a purple leopard pattern. It resists wrinkling and washes in the machine on a gentle cycle; line dry or tumble on low heat to keep the knit soft.
