We cut this shacket from a brushed burgundy plaid weave and lined the entire interior with lofted sherpa fleece. It buttons down the front with sturdy metal snaps and includes a fleece-lined hood for cold weather. The relaxed hem falls straight for easy layering over knits.

The details we cut in
Sherpa fleece lining
We line the body and the hood with thick sherpa fleece to trap warmth. The sleeves are fully lined to slide smoothly over wool sweaters or long-sleeve cotton tees.
Snap front and hood
The attached hood is lined with fleece to break the breeze. Down the front, heavy-duty metal snap buttons close securely and hold the placket flat against the chest.
Plaid shell and pockets
The outer fabric is a soft brushed woven flannel patterned in deep burgundy plaid. We set two flap pockets on the chest and two hand pockets into the lower side seams.
Wash and care
Fasten the metal snaps before washing. Run on a cold, gentle machine cycle with mild detergent, avoid bleach, and hang dry to preserve the loft of the fleece lining.
