We cut this shacket with a roomy body and a dropped shoulder for easy layering over heavy knits. The outer shell is a brushed woven plaid in deep coffee tones, backed entirely with lofted sherpa fleece. Buttoned chest flaps and side pockets give you space for daily carry.

The details we cut in
Lined hood
We attach the hood directly to the collar band and line it with the same high-loft fleece as the body. It sits flat against the back when down and pulls forward easily against the wind.
Snap front
Durable metal snaps run down the center front placket and fasten the cuff bands. They hold firm under tension and open cleanly without catching on the inner fleece lining.
Pocket placement
Two patch pockets with snap flaps sit across the chest for smaller items. We also set welt pockets into the lower side seams to rest your hands out of the breeze.
Care and wash
Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with similar colours. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to keep the fleece lining lofted and soft.
