We cut this sleeveless top from a lightweight plain-weave cotton in a deep reddish brown. The front placket fastens with small tonal buttons beneath a structured point collar. Vertical pleats run down the chest to add fullness through the body without adding bulk at the shoulder seam.

Collar and placket

A crisp point collar sits flat against the neck, leading into a clean vertical placket with securely stitched buttonholes. You can button it fully up or leave the top open.

Pleated chest panels

Tucked pleats start beneath the shoulder yoke and drop straight down the front. This extra room gives the cotton a soft, unconstrained fall that does not pull across the bust.

Sleeveless armhole cut

We shaped the armhole to sit close without binding at the underarm. The binding is turned inward and topstitched flat so the edge stays smooth during all-day wear.

Cotton weave and wash

This solid reddish brown edition uses pure woven cotton that breathes well and softens with each wash. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then line dry or iron warm to reset the pleats.
