We cut these mini lounge shorts from smooth, lightweight satin printed with small black polka dots. The waist sits low with a thin, flexible elastic band that lies flat against the body. Along the leg openings, scalloped lace wraps continuously from the front panels to the back hem.

The details we cut in
Scalloped lace hem
A delicate band of lace edges both leg openings in an unbroken loop from front to back. The scalloped border falls freely below the satin fabric to soften the bottom edge.
Low rise waistband
The waist is built with a narrow elastic casing that stays in place without pinching or bunching. It sits low on the hips to keep the cut light and unrestrictive through the seat.
Polka dot satin
We chose a slick, lightweight satin with a smooth face and gentle sheen. The print features small, neat polka dots set against the base, giving the fabric a fluid drape as you walk.
Washing and care
Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water to protect the fine lace trim and satin finish. Hang the shorts to air dry naturally, and iron on a low heat setting if needed.
