We cut these mini lounge shorts from smooth, lightweight satin printed with a small white polka dot. The hem is edged in delicate lace that runs uninterrupted around each leg opening. A slender elastic waistband keeps the rise low and sits flat against the hips.

The details we cut in

Lace trimmed hem

Fine lace edges the leg openings all the way around without a break in the trim. The openwork border adds soft movement to the bottom hem while keeping the short leg clean and airy.

Satin drape

The woven satin is slick and fluid, sliding easily under robes or over base layers. It holds a subtle sheen that catches the light and lets the fabric hang loose around the thighs.

Narrow elastic waistband

A slim band of elastic is gathered inside the top casing. It rests low on the waist, holding its place without stiff internal stays or heavy bulk at the midsection.

Wash and care

Launder on a gentle cycle in cold water to protect the fine lace edging and smooth face of the satin. Hang the shorts to air dry naturally, and press with a cool iron only if needed.
