We cut these mini lounge shorts from smooth, lightweight satin with a gentle fluid drape. The leg openings are edged with a band of soft lace that runs all the way around the hem, front to back. A narrow elastic band sits at the low waist without bunching.

The details we cut in
Low elastic waist
We set a thin, flexible elastic band into the waistband so the short sits low on the hips. The construction lies flat against the waist and holds its place without heavy gathering.
Continuous lace hem
A band of fine lace runs across the entire lower edge, continuing around each leg opening. We set the trim flat into the hem so it does not pull or pucker the satin body.
Satin fabric weave
The fabric is woven with a smooth satin face that slides easily and catches the light in rose gold. It hangs light and loose through the thigh, working on its own or layered under unlined dresses.
Cold cycle care
Wash these shorts on a gentle machine cycle in cold water to preserve the satin surface and the open lace border. Hang or lay flat to dry naturally, and use a low iron if needed.
