We cut this oversized button-down shirt from breathable woven cotton in a fine brown plaid. The fit is loose through the chest and waist, balanced by a neat turn-down collar and dropped shoulders. The details we cut in

Cotton plaid weave

We use a lightweight cotton yarn with a smooth, dry hand that softens after the first wash. The small-scale grid is woven directly into the fabric rather than printed on top, keeping the pattern clean inside and out.

Collar and placket

A classic turn-down point collar frames the neck and leads into a clean, full-length button placket. The buttons are stitched securely through reinforced front bands so the opening lies flat when fastened.

Back yoke pleat

Across the back, a horizontal yoke seam anchors a center pleat. This cut gives your arms full reach and lets the shirt fall straight down the torso instead of clinging across the shoulder blades.

Sleeve and cuff

The full-length sleeves finish in single-button cuffs that hold their place when fastened. They can be unbuttoned and rolled up the forearm to suit changing weather through spring and autumn.
