A brown and white gingham check woven in soft cotton yarns. We gave this shirt an easy boyfriend cut, dropping the shoulder seams slightly and setting a pleat into the back yoke so the fabric falls clean without pulling across the shoulders. Long sleeves roll and button when needed.

Cotton gingham weave

The grid is woven from dyed brown and white cotton yarns rather than printed on top. The fabric is light, breathable, and holds its crisp texture through regular wash cycles.

Collar and placket

A classic turn-down collar frames the neck, anchored by a full button placket running straight down the front. You can fasten it to the throat or leave it open over an undershirt.

Back pleat construction

We set a box pleat below the back yoke. This gives the body extra room across the shoulder blades, allowing full movement without adding bulk at the side seams.

Sleeve and care

The full-length sleeves end in button cuffs that turn back easily. Wash this shirt in cold water on a gentle cycle, skip the bleach, and hang it up to dry to preserve the cotton weave.
