We drafted this mini skirt with a fitted pencil line and integrated jersey undershorts beneath the outer layer. The stretch cloth sits close through the hips without pulling at the side seams. Brown grounds the small polka dot pattern across the front and back panels.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Integrated undershorts
We sew a lightweight pair of matching shorts directly into the inner waistband. They sit flat against the leg so the outer skirt hangs smooth without catching or riding as you walk.
Fitted pencil hem
The outer skirt is cut short and straight across the bottom edge. We keep the side seams clean to preserve the close line through the hips and thighs.
Stretch print knit
The fabric is a lightweight knit with crosswise give that recovers its shape after sitting. We printed the small dots evenly across the brown ground so the pattern stays balanced over the seams.
Washing and care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar dark tones to protect the print. Lay the piece flat to dry or tumble dry low, and use a cool iron on the reverse side if needed.
