We cut this mini skort with a clean pencil profile and hidden shorts underneath the outer layer. The stretch knit sits at the mid-waist with a smooth band, keeping the hem steady while you move. Small white polka dots break up the base fabric.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Integrated shorts
Beneath the outer pencil skirt, we stitched a pair of fitted undershorts in the same stretch fabric. They stay hidden under the mini hem and allow for easy movement without shifting out of place.
Mid-waist band
The waistband sits at the natural mid-rise without buttons or zips. We cut it wide and flat so it rests smoothly against the hips without digging in or rolling down during wear.
Stretch knit print
The lightweight knit holds generous stretch and recovers its shape after movement. We printed the fabric with classic white polka dots that remain crisp across the surface when pulled across the seams.
Washing and care
Machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle cycle to preserve the polka dot print. Lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low heat, and iron with a cool press if needed.
