We cut this warm-weather top from lightweight white cotton that softens with every wash. The notched V-neck opens into gentle pleating along the chest, while loose flutter sleeves keep air moving around the arms. It falls straight through the body to an untucked hem.

The details we cut in

Notched neckline

A shallow V-neck sits flat against the collarbone without pulling. We set soft pleats right below the notch so the cotton gathers across the chest and falls away from the torso.

Flutter sleeve cut

The short sleeves are cut wide with a slight flare at the cuff. They hang loose from a set-in shoulder seam, leaving plenty of room through the armhole for easy movement.

Lightweight cotton weave

We chose a breathable plain-weave cotton in solid white. The cloth holds its shape along the pleated seams while remaining light enough to drape naturally in warm weather.

Straight lower hem

The hem is cut straight across and finished with a clean turned edge. It sits at a standard hip length so you can wear it loose or tucked into trousers.
