We cut this tunic from a lightweight knit with plenty of stretch. A sharp V-neck opens into an inverted front pleat, letting the fabric hang free through the body down to a rounded hem. The short flutter sleeves finish in light ruffles that stay soft against the upper arm.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Neckline and front pleat
The open V-neck sits flat against the collarbone. Right below the point of the neckline, an inverted tuck releases extra room through the torso, allowing the knit fabric to drape without pulling across the chest.
Flutter sleeves
We cut the short sleeves with extra volume and finished them in loose ruffle edges. They fall away from the shoulder and upper arm, keeping movement unhindered on warm days.
Curved hem
The lower edge is cut in an arch, dipping slightly lower at the center front and back. It falls to mid-hip length, sitting neatly over waistband seams whether left loose or tucked into trousers.
Knit fabric and care
The knit is smooth, light, and printed through with a leopard pattern. Wash it cold by hand or on a gentle machine cycle without bleach, then hang the top on a line to dry.
