We cut this short sleeve top from a lightweight knit with a gentle give. A soft tuck sits right under the open neckline, releasing fabric through the body down to a curved hem. The blue denim plaid print gives the knit the look of woven yardage without the stiffness.

Flutter sleeve cut
The short sleeves are cut wide with a ruffle edge that sits loose around the upper arm. The opening leaves room to move without pulling at the shoulder seam.
Fold pleat detail
A small pleat sits directly beneath the neckline to set the drape across the chest. The body drops loosely from that tuck, giving the lower hem extra sweep.
Curved lower hem
We finished the bottom with a gentle upward curve at both side seams. The edge falls past the waistband and sits flat against trousers, shorts, or skirts.
Washing and care
