We cut this tunic from a lightweight stretch knit in solid white. The V-neckline drops into a central front fold pleat that opens ease through the body, while the short sleeves finish with a ruffled flutter edge. The hem curves longer in front and back.

The details we cut in

Flutter ruffle sleeves

We set the short sleeves with a gathered ruffle that hangs free off the shoulder seam. The flutter edge adds ease around the upper arm and moves without pulling across the armhole.

V-neck with center pleat

The neckline is banded flat into a V. Directly below the notch, an inverted fold pleat runs down the front panel to give the knit body room to fall straight.

Curved tunic hem

The lower edge is cut in a gentle arc across the hips. It dips slightly lower at the center front and back panels rather than cutting straight across.

Cold wash care

Wash this piece by hand or on a gentle machine cycle in cold water without bleach. Hang or line dry to preserve the stretch, and press with a low iron if needed.
