We cut this long sleeve blouse from a lightweight cotton and polyester weave patterned in blue and white stripes. Open lace applique sits directly along the collar and across both shoulders. The shirt buttons down the front and falls straight through the body to an easy hem.

The details we cut in

Lace neckline and shoulders

Openwork lace is set flat into the neckline and across the front shoulder seams. It breaks up the blue and white stripe without adding bulk around the collar.

Cotton blend fabric

We chose a lightweight cotton and polyester blend for this striped cloth. The weave is smooth to the touch, breathes easily, and keeps its drape across the back and chest.

Set-in long sleeves

The sleeves are set square into the lace shoulder panels and finished with simple cuffs. They sit comfortably under jackets or knit layers without bunching up at the wrist.

Laundering and care

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang dry or tumble dry on low heat. A low iron clears any natural wash creases from the cotton yarn.
