What went into it
The details we cut in
Wide leg cut
The legs fall straight and wide rather than tapering into an ankle cuff. That open hem lets the heavyweight fleece drape cleanly over trainers or flat shoes without bunching around the calves.
Brushed fleece interior
We chose a fleece knit with a brushed interior face that traps warm air. The exterior remains smooth to the touch, and the fabric holds its structure through regular wear.
Internal drawstring waistband
The elastic waistband sits low and secures with a flat drawstring threaded along the inside channel. Tying the cord internally keeps the waistline clean under cropped tops and heavy knitwear.
Deep side pockets
Two open pockets sit directly into the side seams. They run deep enough to hold keys or a phone without pulling at the waistline or interrupting the line of the hip.
