We cut these sweatpants wide through the leg from a dense, brushed-back fleece. They sit with a lower rise on the hips and fall straight to an ungathered hem. The internal cord keeps the waistband flat across the front. Deep inset pockets sit along each side seam.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Wide leg cut
The leg drops straight from the hip down to an open hem without cuffs or gathering. This cut gives the fleece room to drape cleanly while you walk.
Inner drawstring waist
We built an elastic waistband with an interior drawcord. You can knot the cord inside the band to adjust the tension without breaking the line of the front waist.
Brushed fleece knit
The knit has a smooth outer face paired with a soft, lofted fleece backing on the inside. It holds warmth and keeps its shape after cold machine washing.
Side seam pockets
Two deep pockets are set directly into the side seams. They sit flat when empty and stay deep enough to carry a phone and keys without pulling on the hips.
