What went into it
The details we cut in
Wide leg cut
The trousers fall straight from the low-rise waistband down to a wide, ungathered hem. This cut leaves ample room through the thigh and calf, allowing the heavy knit to drop cleanly without bunching.
Brushed fleece interior
We chose a midweight knit lined with lofted, brushed fleece on the inside. The inner face feels soft against the leg, while the smooth exterior resists snagging during daily wear.
Inner drawstring waist
The elasticated waistband sits low and secures from the inside with a dyed drawstring cord. Tucking the adjustment inside keeps the front flat when worn beneath cropped tops or untucked sweaters.
Side pockets and care
Two angled side pockets are stitched into the side seams to carry small pocket gear. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, turn inside out before washing to protect the fleece nap, and lay flat to dry.
