We built this knit cap with two distinct layers to hold warmth in low temperatures. The outside is a ribbed acrylic and polyester yarn, while the inside is lined entirely in brushed fleece. A deep turnover cuff lets you adjust how low it sits over the ears.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Double layer construction
The outer shell uses a textured rib knit that gives when pulled, backed by a smooth fleece lining underneath. This interior layer sits flat against the brow without itching or catching on hair.
Adjustable folded cuff
We knit the lower band with extra length so you can roll the cuff up or down. Doubling the knit over the ears creates four layers of material right along the edge.
Yarn and stretch
The synthetic knit combines acrylic and polyester fibres for recovery and shape retention. It expands easily to fit and pulls back without bagging out after repeated wear.
Washing and care
Wash the cap in cold water on a gentle machine cycle. You can tumble dry it on low heat, though laying it flat to dry helps the ribbing keep its original spring.
