We cut these pull-on lounge trousers from lightweight woven cotton in a crisp blue and white stripe. The straight leg falls loosely from the hips down to an open hem. We added deep side pockets to keep the shape practical around the house.

The details we cut in

Gathered waistband

The casing holds a wide elastic band that sits flat against the waist. It pulls on easily without buttons, drawstrings, or a zip fly.

Woven stripe fabric

We chose a light, breathable cotton weave with alternating blue and white yarn-dyed stripes. The fabric washes soft and holds a clean drape along the leg.

Side entry pockets

Two deep vertical pockets sit flat in the side seams. They give you a place for your phone or hands without adding bulk across the front.

Wash and care

Machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang the trousers on a line to reduce wrinkles, and iron warm if needed.
