We cut these lounge trousers from lightweight cotton with a bold vertical stripe in red and white. The waistband is elasticated to sit flat without binding, and the wide legs fall straight from hip to hem. Side pockets are set right into the seams.

The details we cut in

Cotton stripe cloth

The woven cotton cloth is light and crisp. It softens with laundering and lets air pass through, with parallel red and white stripes running the length of each leg to create a clean vertical line.

Elasticated waistband

We gathered the waist on an interior elastic channel. It holds its place at the natural waist without pinching, staying secure when you sit or move around the house.

Straight wide leg

The leg is cut wide and parallel from the upper thigh down to the open hem. This straight profile creates room through the knee and ankle so the fabric hangs without catching.

Inseam pocket construction

Two functional pockets sit directly inside the side seams. They lie flat against the hip when empty and offer enough depth for a phone or small essentials.
