We cut these wide leg boxer trousers from a light, airy cotton weave patterned in army green and white gingham. The waist is gathered on elastic so it sits flat without hardware, and the legs fall straight and loose down to the hem. Functional side pockets finish the construction.

The details we cut in

Elastic waistband

We gather the waist over a wide band of encased elastic. It sits easily on the hips or waist without buttons, zips, or drawstrings to fuss with.

Wide straight leg

The cut runs straight down from the hip to a wide open hem. The cotton cloth is lightweight, giving the pant a relaxed drape when walking.

Side slip pockets

We set deep pockets directly into the side seams. They sit smooth against the leg when empty and hold small daily carry items without pulling the waistband down.

Gingham check care

Woven in an army green and white check pattern that holds up to ordinary laundry. Machine wash on a gentle cold cycle and line dry to preserve the weave.
